Moroccan Savon Noir Sample Body Mask, Tribute to Fedoua my Pharmacy Student
My sweet pharmacy student Fedoua introduced me to this Moroccan black soap (Savon Noir). Her mother traditionally makes a blend with the Moroccan black soap base, olive oil, & pennyroyal essential oil. I love the name a joining of Morocco with France, merci beaucoup.
In Morocco, they use as a mask then sit in a sauna/steam bath x 10 minutes then rinse with cool water. There is a special Kessa glove or any exfoliation glove they use to remove while mechanically exfoliating.
Recognized for centuries for its cleansing properties, this black soap has been made in the purest Moroccan tradition from olive oil and supplemented with pennyroyal essential oil, tonic and refreshing. Essential treatment of the hammam, it is used in scrub all over the body using the Kessa Glove. This exfoliating scrub frees the skin from all its impurities; he makes it soft, supple and firm. Caramel-colored, Black Soap is a non-granular and homogeneous paste.
This salve is a bit bitter in scent with a pearly, caramel color.
Use: as body mask with steam setting x 10 minutes then exfoliate with exfoliation glove or body brush, rinse with cool water.
Properties: exfoliation, eliminating dead skin cells while increasing circulation, nourishes skin deeply, stimulates collagen and therefore skin regeneration, delays aging, improves the application of products thereafter.
